Product Description
Modified Pelletized Adsorbent for Pharmaceutical & Coating Solvent Recovery
The Modified Pelletized Adsorbent is a high-purity inorganic adsorbent specifically designed for cyclic adsorption and recovery of organic solvents such as ethyl acetate, isopropanol (IPA), and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Manufactured from refined composite oxides with a precisely controlled pore structure, this material offers high surface area, stable mechanical strength, and exceptional regeneration durability. Its smaller cylindrical pellets (3-4 mm) provide improved contact efficiency and rapid mass transfer, making it ideal for pharmaceutical, coating, and fine chemical processes where high-purity solvent recovery and VOC emission control are essential.

Features
- High Solvent Adsorption Efficiency: Optimized micropore and mesopore distribution ensures excellent adsorption of polar and semi-polar organic solvents such as IPA and ethyl acetate.
- Superior Regeneration Durability: Maintains ≥ 90% adsorption performance after more than 250 regeneration cycles under thermal or vacuum desorption conditions.
- High Purity & Safety: Non-carbon, low-dust material eliminates ignition risks and contamination of recovered solvents.
- Fine Pellet Size: Smaller cylindrical pellets enhance surface contact area and shorten adsorption/desorption cycles.
- Stable Mechanical Strength: Uniform pellets resist crushing and attrition in high-flow cyclic adsorption systems.
Applications
- Pharmaceutical Solvent Recovery: Used in closed-loop systems for recovery and reuse of isopropanol, and ethyl acetate in API and formulation plants.
- Coating & Printing Industry: Applied in VOC control and solvent recycling units for paints, inks, and varnishes.
- Fine Chemical Production: Ideal for solvent vapor recovery from reactors, distillation vents, and purification processes.
- Activated Carbon Replacement: Provides higher thermal resistance, cleaner regeneration, and longer operational life compared to traditional carbon pellets.

Manufacturing Process
- High-Purity Material Base: Produced from composite alumina-silica matrix with minimal metal impurities.
